Project Overview 

CTS Group’s flagship multi-year project delivering all lineside civils assets associated with the new Segro Rail Freight Interchange at Radlett. The works form part of a major greenfield freight development integrating new infrastructure with the operational Network Rail mainline.

Project Scope

• Mainline 4-track and 2-track UTX installations
• Approximately 2000m of track drainage
• GRP LOC stagings installed on screw pile foundations
• Precast and cast-in-situ reinforced concrete bases (BOPs, REBs, lighting columns, etc.)
• Walkways and access routes
• Boundary fencing
• New ground-level and raised troughing routes
• Diversion of existing troughing routes

Delivery

A complex, high-volume civils package delivered across live railway interfaces, supporting the creation of a major new freight interchange on Network Rail infrastructure.
