Project Overview 

CTS was engaged to deliver the prefabrication and installation of FFU bearers within the wash road at Stewarts Lane Depot. The works were undertaken during a tightly controlled 52-hour possession, requiring coordinated prefabrication and efficient on-site installation.

Project Scope

• Prefabrication of 50m of FFU bearers, including pre-installation of baseplates and rail
• Installation and alignment of new FFU bearers
• Installation of formwork and temporary works
• Mixing, pumping, and placement of approximately 20m¬≥ of grout

Delivery

Through off-site prefabrication and detailed planning, CTS minimised on-site installation time and ensured precise track alignment within the possession window. All works were completed safely and handed back in accordance with programme requirements.
